Why a Method

Learn the Form, Then Put In the Reps

Anyone can learn proper bench press form in five minutes. Nobody gets stronger until they pick up the bar and put in the reps, day after day. Most mental and personal training stops at the form: a talk, a workshop, a video you watch once. MindRep is where the reps happen. You learn the skill, then your coach helps you apply it every day.

That's where our name comes from: reps for every part of your game that physical training doesn't reach.

The Design

Why Every Skill Is Built This Way

01 · PRACTICE

Learn the idea.

A two to three minute audio lesson on how elite athletes approach one skill.

Why it works: Short, focused lessons are easy to fit into a busy day, so athletes come back consistently to make learning stick.

02 · DRILL

Apply it to you.

An interactive drill where you answer in your own words, about your sport, your role, and your moments.

Why it works: Recalling and applying an idea yourself is one of the most effective ways to learn, far stronger than rereading or listening again. Studies show that it's easier to remember what people put into their own words.

03 · TOOL

Make it yours.

Your drill answers come together into a personal tool, like a Power Statement or a Reset Routine.

Why it works: Deciding ahead of time what you'll do in a specific moment makes that response automatic when the moment arrives.

04 · TRY IT ON

Test it for real.

Use your tool in real training and competition for a few days, then reflect on what happened.

Why it works: Skills hold up best when they're trained in conditions like the ones where they'll be used. Real moments show what works and what needs adjusting.

05 · LOCK IT IN

Commit and keep it.

Review what worked, adjust if needed, and commit to a plan for the weeks ahead.

Why it works: Reviewing your own results and committing to a specific plan turns a tool into a habit.

Every day, your coach meets you where you are. Your morning check-in tells MindRep how you feel and what your day holds, and your Game Plan tells you which tools to use, so the right reps show up on the right day.

The Research

Why This Kind of Training Works

2 of 10

In a major review of ten common learning techniques, only two rated highly effective: spaced practice and practice testing. The MindRep Method uses both.

About 2x

Athletes who train their self-talk see about twice the performance benefit of those who only learn about it.

About 50% more

People who tested themselves on what they learned remembered about 50% more a week later than those who simply reread it.

Nearly 100 studies

Across nearly 100 studies, deciding exactly when and how you'll act made people far more likely to follow through.
